Europe Square and Edvard Kardelj Square

From Station to Station is the opening event of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia, which will take place on the Slovenian cultural holiday on 8 February.

At the opening ceremony of the European Capital of Culture, we will symbolically unite the two cities with a procession connecting Gorizia Railway Station to the one in Nova Gorica. Official opening will take place in Europe Square at 16:00, and cultural programme at 18:00 on the meadow in front of SNG Nova Gorica.
